How we price

Every project is bespoke.

Research isn't a commodity, and our pricing reflects that. We start with a paid 1-hour consultation ($300, fully credited toward your project if you proceed), then send a written, fixed quote built around your data, methods, and timeline. No tiered packages, no hidden hourly bills.

90% money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with our final deliverable, we refund 90% of the total fee — no questions asked.

Why no fixed prices

A serious quote requires a serious look.

A "standard package" can't honestly cover the spread between a 5,000-row cleaning task and a 10-million-row panel with reviewer revisions across three rounds. We price the work that's actually in front of us.

Data scale & quality

A clean 50k-row survey is fundamentally different work from a 10M-row administrative panel with missing identifiers and inconsistent encodings.

Methodological complexity

A descriptive analysis is not a causal inference design. Mixed-effects models, structural equation modeling, and Bayesian hierarchical approaches each have their own time cost.

Timeline & urgency

A six-week timeline is paced. A five-day deadline before grant submission is a rush job. We're honest about what each requires.

Deliverable scope

A regression table is one deliverable. A regression table plus three publication figures, a methods section, and reviewer-response support is another.

Domain context

Some literatures need substantial reading before we can sensibly engage. We bake that ramp-up time into the quote, not into a surprise invoice.

Reproducibility level

Quick analysis with notes is one thing. A fully reproducible pipeline with Quarto documentation and a Docker image is another.

How it works

From submission to fixed quote.

No back-and-forth surprises. You'll know the exact price and timeline before any work begins.

01

Submit project

Fill out the project form with your data, research question, and timeline. The more detail, the faster we can scope.

02

Paid consultation

A 1-hour video call ($300) to dig into your data, methods, constraints, and timeline. Fee is fully credited toward your project if you proceed.

03

Written quote

Within 1–2 business days, you receive a written proposal: scope, methods, deliverables, timeline, and a fixed price.

04

Accept & begin

Accept by reply or via signed agreement. We invoice 50% upfront (Stripe or institutional billing) and begin work.

Step zero

Begin with a paid consultation.

Before any quote, we run a 1-hour working session to understand your project deeply. The fee is fully credited toward your project total if you proceed.

What you get

A real working session, not a sales pitch.

A PhD-level methodologist meets you for one hour to dig into your data, methods, constraints, and timeline. You leave with concrete advice — even if you don't move forward with us.

  • Methodological review of your research design
  • Concrete recommendations for cleaning, modeling, or scope
  • Realistic estimate of effort, timeline, and risk
  • Written summary of recommendations sent within 24 hours
$300
for 1 hour
Fully credited toward your project. If you proceed with a project after the consultation, the entire $300 is deducted from your project total.

What past projects have typically cost.

Indicative ranges only — your actual quote depends on the factors above. These are not menu items.

Small focused analysisSingle-method analysis on a clean dataset, 1 figure, 1-week turnaround
~$400 – $1,200
Standard empirical paper supportCleaning + modeling + 3–5 figures + tables, 2–4 week timeline
~$1,500 – $4,500
Complex / large-scale projectLarge datasets, advanced methods, full methods writeup, longer timeline
~$5,000 – $15,000
Longitudinal / multi-stage engagementMulti-month research support with reviewer response and revisions
$15,000+ / quoted

⚠ These are not fixed prices. Final quotes are issued only after we've reviewed your project. Some projects cost less, some cost more — we charge for the work that's actually required.

Frequently asked

Why is the consultation paid?

Because it's a real working session with a PhD-level methodologist — you leave with concrete recommendations regardless of whether we end up working together. The $300 fee compensates for that hour of senior expertise. If you do proceed with a project, the full $300 is credited back to you against the project total, so the consultation is effectively free for any client we end up serving. If you don't proceed, you've still received an hour of paid expert advice that's yours to act on.

How exactly does the 90% money-back guarantee work?

If after delivery you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, simply notify us within 14 days with the specific reasons. We will refund 90% of the total fee — no lengthy disputes. The 10% covers initial costs and is our only ask in exchange for the guarantee.

Is the quote negotiable?

Yes. After receiving your written quote, you can ask us to adjust scope, deliverables, or timeline to fit your budget — or to provide a stripped-down version, or a phased plan. The price reflects the scope; change the scope and the price changes with it.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card and bank transfer via Stripe, plus institutional invoices for university grant offices.

Can you bill against a research grant?

Yes. We're set up as a vendor for university procurement systems worldwide and can provide W-9, W-8BEN, or local equivalents.

What about NDAs and data security?

Standard NDA on request. Data handled per IRB protocols; encrypted at rest and in transit.

Do you offer student discounts?

Yes — graduate students typically receive a 15–25% discount, depending on project scope.
